    Not entirely his fault, it was a worn key. I had a spare blank to get cut but I was lazy. Once the key was in two pieces cutting the blank wasn't a option anymore.
    AWD > RWD

      For those of you with no or a broken key, hit up a local locksmith. I picked up an e30 parts car with no key. I removed the trunk lock and took it to the local locksmith.. $25 out the door. If they had done a house call, it was $100

        The 88 I just bought came with 2 really worn out looking hardware-store keys. After about 3 weeks, 1 key stopped working, altogether. The backup still works, but I drove over to the dealer Sat. and ordered a new factory key from the VIN. $70! That was a bit of a shock. Been a while since I've been in a dealer I suppose...
