    OBD1 M62B44 Dyno Results

My buddy and I got up to the dyno the other day and finally dynoed my OBD1 M62B44 swap in my e30 and figured I'd share. Video contains his M52B28 swap as well.

Was surprised to see my torque lower than hp, but...all in all I'm still happy with the numbers! Especially on a 85°F Florida day.

Prepare your ears...the dyno was a bit loud.

Wiki says 290hp@5700 and 325ft/lb@3900 at the crank shaft.

Your max power was at 5750 and torque came in at 5050.

torque does seem a little askew.

      What tune are you using?

I'm also wondering how the m52 made 240 wtq. Very solid power numbers on the v8!

Do you happen to have a pic of your exhaust?

It's a ton of fun. Actually quite scary that is all it makes and people are running around with twice that. It's a handful itself. Lol.

I'm curious as well as to the torque curve. The guy said his dyno often reads the same or less than a Mustang Dyno, so...idk what that means for my numbers.

It was hot as shit too, and I drove 1hr and immediately hopped on the dyno...not optimal. Lol!

And Pipes, I do actually. One moment.

Thought I had a better one...but...here it is.

2.5" downpipes into 2.25" pipe with an x-pipe and magnaflow 18" muffler.

Good numbers, I'm running the same setup! Excited to strap mine down and compare the graphs. What size tires are you running in the rear?

What a killer ride. Your cheeks must hurt every time you drive it.
