This guy posted a late model part out and I contacted him (10/4/2017) about the front valance/rear apron for my late model bumper swap. Took him about 2 weeks to supposedly cut the rear apron off and get it boxed. When I asked him about shipping he had originally said he as going to use greyhound and I would have to pick the box up because that would be half the price of shipping it to my home address. When he said he shipped the box two days later he said he shipped it to my home address. When I asked him about a week later for tracking info he first said his (assumed infant) daughter snatched the receipt. When I asked him a day later he said his neighbor called the cops on him for parting out too many e30's and the package got seized. We were in contact about the cars and he sent me photos so I assumed this was all legit. Last week He said he shipped the package again after dealing with the police scenario and when I asked him for tracking info he made another excuse about not having the receipt. I told him I would file a claim if I didn't hear or see anything by the end of the day on Friday last week (11/10/2017) but waited until Saturday afternoon to follow through. He has since stopped responding to my texts and I have filed a claim with Paypal to get my money back.

If this mystery package gets to my front door (from LA to SF..even large boxes would only take a few days) I will happily delete this post. But until then I wouldn't recommend dealing with this guy ever.

Update on 11/23: Still havent heard back from him. Awaiting refund issued through PayPal

Same problem. Same run-around. Endless excuses, promises of shipping, tracking number. Now also not answering texts, calls. Payed Oct 14/17. Still nothing. Total deadbeat. I assume he is done but if not, Do not buy from this guy.

I've bought something from him in person. I don't remember the address or anything or how to get there as it was awhile back ago. I could Believe the story about the neighbor calling the cops on him because when I bought wheels off him I asked him if anybody complains about the e30s getting parted out on his very small driveway. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I don't know him, he seemed like a cool dude in person. Sucks that he ripped you guys off

Yeah we chatted about his cars for a bit too and he seemed cool. Probably just had too much going on with the e30 part out game.

I got my refund from Paypal so I'm not too mad about it, just kind of a bummer that I'm now having to look for parts still.

I Know its been a while but i just wanted to come back here and apologize to the two guys that happen to get mixed up with my issues. I truly never intended to rip any one off and the refunds were eventually sent back through paypal. Turns out Glendale is very strict on parting out cars. I didnt have my fence covered and im assuming one of my neighbors called the police/city. i bought a car and never registered it so i got into a little bit of trouble for doing so but the main issue was i was hoarding rear valances and the detective was claiming i was chopping up cars. Also my body panels (stuff with VINS) were taken away. Their main issue was someone said i was selling parts from cars and it was tax evasion. At least thats what they kept telling me. I finally was able to prove that i did buy the e30s i had parted out but apparently your only allowed to buy a certain amount of cars a year and you have to register them, then you need some sort of dismantling license. Again i do apologize to anyone that i ghosted at the time. i lost alot of money that i had invested in these cars plus money i had to pay in fees etc. I did end up getting my e30 back after paying a ton of fees!! again sorry
