    Project 1972 Bavaria

Picked up a 1972 BMW Bavaria this week. I purchased it from Missouri on Wednesday and had it shipped to me in PA and it arrived tonight.

    Plans are as follows:
Fix any rust issues, strip exterior to metal, full interior redone, and any maintenance needed like timing belt, water pump, carb rebuild, ect.

The work should begin in around 2-3 weeks time. I plan on starting on the underside and then work my way up and around to the top.

Parked next to my brothers 1988 325 Super Eta that I did a few years ago. The picture is linked to the build thread.

Appears to be in good shape. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Still waiting for the key to show up for the car, was told it'd be over nighted on Friday but it's now end of Tuesday with no key. Can't unlock the steering or access the trunk to see what's all in it as far as 'extra' parts and hopefully all
              the upper side trim.

Fingers crossed for taillight lenses because they're both cracked.

Who knew. I haven't been there in ages. I used to lurk there maybe 5+ years ago, but never really posted much since it seemed like mostly newer Japanese/American cars there which I'm not really into. Used to be really active, but so was every other forum. Thanks, social media.
