    WTB: E30 (325 / 318, vert or coupe) or E34 (Los Angeles)

    Hi,

I'm a recent graduate moving to Los Angeles next week to start a new job and need to pick up some wheels. I've been looking at Craigslist and autotrader classics a bunch, as well as reading up on E30's for a few months now and would like to get my hands on a local one.

My budget is in the 7-10k range. I'd like a relatively low mileage one with no major mechanical fixes, a good engine and a clean paint job... ready to go. Convertible or Coupe works for me.

I'm not a huge car guy but I'm a mechanical engineer and am willing to learn in the next few years. Further, I'm still getting the grips on these cars but these forums seem like a tight-knit community where I could be pointed in the right direction / given purchasing guidance / not get ripped off.

    Thank you in advanced!

You have a healthy budget and the right mindset, just be patient! The right car will show up. I recommend bmwcca.org classified section usually has e30/34 and will usually be well maintained by responsible adult owners.

I have an Alpine White 87 325iS I'll be posting soon. Basically stock except suspension upgrades, short shifter, and headlights. I have done tons of fresh maintenance to the car. Body and paint are original and clean. PM me for info or stay tuned for the ad within the next week or so.

bump! I'm seriously looking to purchase a car this weekend, so I am throwing out a final inquiry for an E30 in Los Angeles.

I am also interested in E34 / E36's if you know of anything! Thank you guys!
