    Rubbing in the Front?

So I got the last of my 5 lug sorted and installed on the car. Moving the car around out of the garage I noticed that my tires are rubbing the inside fender wells to death closest to the firewall on sharp turns. Is this normal or do I need to take a sledge hammer to it? :)

    Specs:
    BC E36 Coils w/ E30 camber plate
    96+ OEM M3 Control arms
    OEM E30 M3 offset CAB
    95' E36 M3 spindle
    Hartge 17x8 et40

Well, your tires are oversized which isn't helping.

Those tires will rub regardless of the number of lugs you have. 225/40 would be what you want if you need 225s.

I couldn't find a tire with 40 aspect ratio. 45 was the closest in a 17. I know people have run them on their 5 lug swapped cars because I stumbled upon them when looking for what tire size for a 17x8.

I get rub with 225/45 but not my 225/35. However I could use a bit more sidewall

From what I've been reading - you have all the right stuff...but need the 96-99 M3 spindles for proper caster/wheel orientation.
