    No flex disk/guibo on driveshaft

Finally trying to address a knocking/vibration from around the shifter/center console area since I've had the car. It only happens when taking off from a stop starting around 15mph and goes away after a few seconds.

Was thinking it was the flex disc and center support bearing so I lifted the car and went to look at the condition and it appears there is no flex disc and the driveshaft is directly attached to the transmission output.

This is an automatic car but even realoem shows there should be a flex disc.

It looks like I might have a Type 2 driveshaft as shown on http://driveshaftspecialist.com/Import%20html/BMW.html
