I have finally tracked down a manufacturer that can make the AC
Schnitzer mirrors in both CF and in FG. These are a copy of the actual AC
Schnitzer mirrors that are virtually impossible to get. Minor adjustments
have been made to the mold to make these mirror fit better than the
actual ACS part. A lot of R&D was put into these mirrors and are top
notch. I have been on the phone with the gentleman making this product
and he has a passion for what he does and stands behind his products.
Instead of those square mirrors causing aero drag, these are much more
aerodynamic and look good doing it. In my opinion, these are much better
than the DTM mirror because there is more glass and you can actually see
out of it.
Mirrors will also come with the glass. Mirrors will be manual and will be much
lighter than your stock ones. Was told that it will require four M5 bolts
approximately one inch long to attach the mirrors. The stock ones are
too short. You can get it at any hardware store such as Home Depot.
CF will have the glass mounted while the FG will be unmounted for those
that would like to get them painted.
I need to get 10 orders, CF or FG, for the manufacturer to get the
first batch going. Prices are as follows and will include Priority shipping
within the states.
CF: $390
FG: $340

because people will flake. Once the 10 order limit is reached, there will be
a 10% deposit to keep people from flaking. That way people won't flake
and the manufacturer is not being stuck with unsold product. Being on his
good side is a must cause I am trying to work with him in developing other
products.
I will have him ship the mirrors to me first, verify the quality of each, and
then send it straight to you. This way I can guarantee the quality and you
aren't shipped a bad part.
