The Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec just launched in 225/45-16 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....num=245WR6Z2SS Seems to me it would make an excellent summer tire, though it will wear pretty fast I imagine.
EDIT: I see you already made mention of the ZII, but leaving the link so others don't have to look for it.

205-50 (IIRC) on the front and 225-45 rears on 16x8 style 4's.

Sorry about all the questions. Your car is gorgeous. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

M3 CABs with GC coilovers. No roll was required with that setup, I ended up adding spacers to make the wheels more flush to the fender.

Resurrected to ask - has anyone tried the new version of this tire yet? https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...omCompare1=yes

I'm deciding whether to go APEX 17" wheels, or stick with the 16s I have and buy this new tire and call it good. I like the appearance and weight of the APEX, but I think 17" looks a TINY bit too big on an E30.

Am I crazy or can I run 225/45/16s at ET10??

g.ruff561's setup would leave the corner of the tires at almost exactly the same position between the two setups.
