Help!! Error Code 1221, Vibrating/Jerking, White smoke and Bouncing RPM issue

Hello guys,

On the way back home, car felt little rough, engine sounds changed from sewing machine to machine gun.

Car was vibrating/shaking/jerking and throwing white smokes from the exhuast on restart, after I stopped car and let it cool down.

Idle was very rough and RPM needle was bouncing up and down by its own.

Stomp test result - 1221 - O2 Sensor problem.

Replaced old one with new Bosch one but same problem and code present.

Cleaned ICV, checked intake boot but didn't find any issues.

What should I check/fix next and is it ok to drive this car?

Probably should not drive the car. Remove the spark plugs and inspect them. Then compression test. Pull the valve cover and look at the valve train for broken parts. Good luck!

+1 for compression test. Quite similar to both times I had a snapped rocker arm, and somewhat similar to what happened when my first m20 blew a hole in piston #4. Internal engine damage is possible. Check for those before doing anything else, and definitely don't drive it.

Saw this code posted in another thread which was resolved by replacing the coolant temp sensor.
