Is that a clamp from a tv antenna???

    That's tweeker- approved, that is.

    Shoulda used a longer muffler.

Hope he didn't work on the brakes.
    Or the suspension...

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

Looks like the previous owner came down hard on a bump or speed bump and smashed the muffler into the rear valance. Hope yiu accounted for the damage when you bought it.

As for fixing it. The rear valance is metal and can be hammered out and body worked. Then you will need to replace the rear portion of the exhaust. Probably about $1400, considering body work, paint, labor and new exhaust components.

had to had the catalytic converted replaced anyway, so went ahead and got rid of the dynamax muffler and replaced with an magnaflow. now the muffler isn't right up against the rear valance so leaves room for the body guy to pound it back. muffer guy did all that for $300 including parts and labor. Thanks Yang Auto Repair.

he's charging $750, but gonna try to talk him down to $650 or $700.

I'm planning to get a color change anyway.

I wouldn't change the color either. Silver E30s with some nice rims and sport Springs look sick.
