      ^^ agreed.
even an m20 or m42 would be a blast in that car.

Meh, E21s. They are great. But they are not an e28.

My e28 has 150k+. Worn front and rear suspension. 4 doors. A big heavy 6 cylinder engine.

But it still drives f=#% amazing. It is such a blast to drive. I've driven E30s, Etas and m10s.

              You don't want a M10. Trust me.

Well anyways I still like it it fit in its series (ex. the e23, e12/28, e21 came out together and look the same)

And I wouldn't leave the stock m10 that would get swapped immediately

Why? I heard this causes Massive understeer.

                      It's a euro 323i.
Was sold then crashed not too long ago.
Owner is in the process of fixing it though.

Easily corrected with the pedal on the right. I had the pleasure of mechanically resurrecting an Alpina B6 2.8 (E21 M30) and it was a riot to drive. Yes, you can feel some extra weight up front but its not as bad as you would think and hanging the tail out in a third gear sweeper watching the smoke gently swirl behind you is a nice place to be, and a wet dream for a NA M10.

I do have a slightly unhealthy relationship with the M30 powerplant, however...

An e21 was my first BMW drive and sold me on BMWs. Euro bumpers are a must though.
