The stock insulation under the hood was shot and brittle. After much research, I opted to replace it with 2 layers of noico material. First layer is noico 80 mil sound deadening and the second layer, is noico 170 mil waterproof sounds insulation. This combo made a big difference. The car is a lot quieter inside when driving. I plan to do the rest of this car at some point, with this combo.

So last Thursday I drove the 318 from home (northern VA) down to Lubbock, TX.. a 25 hr trip [emoji123]. I'm here till tomorrow, then driving back to VA. Earlier today someone left a note on the car, while we were shopping at Target! I text the person back and kindly told them, the car is not for sale.

Have been waiting to pull my interior with plans to add sound deadener throughout. Have been looking at a bunch of brands and have settled on Noico for price/quality. Were you happy with the product? Also, I was only planning on doing the 80mil on the interior, would it be worth it to add the 170mil over the top, or would it be too thick/heavy in your opinion?
