What car was that in, Bob? I plan on getting the E30's A/C working again. I was hoping I wouldnt need to worry about it until next year, but damn it has been a hot week

This in my E30. It had previously been converted from R12.

Thats awesome! Im hoping the system in mine is still functional because Id rather keep it R12 than have to convert to R134, but I will do what it needs to have good functional A/C... but after I do a manual swap

Throwing out a bunch of stuff. Come get it if you want it. It's all free, just come ASAP.

Seat parts, foam, etc. Also left over stuff from my 5 lug swap. Brake calipers, rotors, etc.

Come get it all. I'm moving and don't have time to deal with it.

I'm beginning to think there's not much of a car scene here in the Bay Area. I've met a couple of you in person, but are there meets or get togethers that happen regularly? Would be awesome to have more friends into cars, and get away from the tech / startup talk, but I'm having a hard time meeting car people.

                    Anyone down for beer?

We used to meet every Friday in SJ. That stopped during a winter and never really started back up again. That being said that was a few years back already lol.

You should come out to the 02 meets that happen ever so often. Good quality people with just as much if not more love for old BMWs.

There also a couple FB groups and they post meets/drives once an awhile too.

On a different note, went to Indo this past couple weeks and bought 3 mtechII steering wheels and NOS rear early euro mudflaps :)

Sad part is one wheel is currently lost with some of my clothes somewhere around the world :(

Hopefully they find my bag and the wheel isnt damaged

A bunch of the meets died off when morons started stuntin' and splodin' and venues no longer wanted groups to show up, hang out, be obnoxious, and not buy anything.

Also for me personally most meets had show car folks doing show car things and I lost interest.

The facebook groups probably throw events but again....mostly seemed to be events to look at cursive vinyl stickers across front windshields.
