Everyone just needs to bag their cars, put them on shiny gold wheels, run 25° of camber, wrap them a sickening color and the car scene will come to us!

I'm beginning to think there's not much of a car scene here in the Bay Area. I've met a couple of you in person, but are there meets or get togethers that happen regularly? Would be awesome to have more friends into cars, and get away from the tech / startup talk, but I'm having a hard time meeting car people.

I haven't done anything to it, to be honest. I'm waiting to get access to a lift, as I have a huge assumption that the knock I hear sometimes isn't the spring or exhaust hangers, but it's actually the center support for the driveshaft.

Just kind of feeling it all out. I can't do too much to it right now, as I have to save money to move to a new place in about a month. Any major repairs (or repairs I'm unable to do myself) are probably 6 months out.

I got a new rebuilt bbm stock style on for only $1250. That will hold me over until I get my bonus and eps, next February. Then I'll get a m2/used m240i or new Tacoma. Not sure what to buy as a DD after I sell the Corrado and E30

That's funny I think the 1er is the best looking new BMW(post e46) on the market imho. A blast to drive also, I cruised my friends around sf for a week.
