It was a blast my friend, very respectful drivers on course for all sessions. I gave chase to all kinds of cars and this e30 kept up. It's the 6th time the car has been to the track and the first time on slicks with a limited slip diff and the s52 added.
The first session I forgot to turn the camera on so it didn't capture my 3rd gear spin exiting turn 9 where I got out in the marbles, unweighted and slid around.
The only other e30 that day broke down. There's a picture of it bottle caps and all on the back of a wrecker dropping into the corkscrew that's funny if you're not an e30 guy, kinda sad if you are.

Last session late in the day with oil on the track from the previous run group.

I lived in Monterey for 2 1/2 years. I had my e30 back then, but hadn't yet figured-out that I could do HPDE although I would often go to Laguna Seca to watch vintage races.

Now that I'm in Seattle, my near-tern "to do" is attend a HPDE at Laguna Seca. An e30 get-together in conjunction would be awesome!!

Same here, I lived in Monterey for a year and would take my lunch out to the state park to watch the Porsche Club of Oakland or whoever it was run, never knowing there was a way to get onto the track.

Am down for an e30 get together up there, I see there are a couple of Laguna Seca days planned for next year, even some Sonoma dates scheduled.
I camped for $37 a night at Laguna Seca State Park, they have hot showers and killer views of Monterey Bay. When I was there my plan was to charge the corkscrew late at night on a skateboard but after several IPA's I thought better of it, er...pussed out. Walking the track with a Frisbee is safer...
