    Naika's Tech 2 vert build.

Well I have been following Francks vert progress while it went through is changes.
I stopped by the body shop a few times while they was working on it and getting painted.
So I took a few photos of it for him.
For those that dont remember what the car looked like before.

Now all of these next photos are in no order but show the progress of whats been done.
Keep in mind Franck did 90% of the work other then the last blocking and spraying the paint.
The kit is the raceoneusa tech 2 kit.

We are picking the car up today and we should have it back together this weekend.

I will let Franck do the rest of the talking and answering questions.

sick .... seems we are in the same boat...

black tech2 cabbys, and i have my borbets sitting in boxes for next summer.. wicked.

1 question.. what did you have to do for the 'tonneau cover' .. you know the lid that hides the top when it's down..
you had to remove the vinyl.. sand.. prime.. paint?

I am respraying the car next summer , so i am thinking i should probably go this way, too..

fucking tits....thats exactly what I want to do with mine....guess we'll have another black m-tech vert in the NE....

So question is...how does the rear bumper mount to the car? does it use the standard mounting points?

The rear bumper slides over the bumper core and he made some brackets in the wheel wells to hold it in by the wheel.
                    other then that, thats it.

anyways we got A LOT of the car back together tonight.
                    new pics maybe Friday.

I am not a body guy, but why did they take a black car, then spray grey primer over the complete thing- to them spray it black again???-- I feel for your buddy when he gets a few rock chips in it after a year or so.
other than that it looks like it will be a VERY nice looking car.
                              where are the update pics?
