    E30 m10 block in an e21?

I'm in need of a m10 engine. Are the motor mount point the same as an e21 m10? Or will I have to modified the arm to work?

the oil pan, transmission, and fuel situation are going to create issues.

The motor mounts are different, but what I recall
(it's been a loooong time) is that the E30 block has
the right bosses for the E21.
The later E21 has the injectors in the head, tho, so if you're
still using (shuddder) cis, that's not gonna work. Oil pump and
pan can be swapped easily (I think you just need the E21 pickup for the pump)
For smog, you SHOULD be able to put the entire E30 efi in and get it approved.

I have an E21 bottom end in my car. The stock E30 mounts will work on it. The block doesn't have holes in it for the cover that attaches to the transmission but it will stay in place just fine by the bolts through the transmission.

Do a little research on 1979 E21 engine mounts. I know the blocks were a bit of a hybrid that year.
