spark plug wire set help.

my 1987 bmw 325i convertible m20 l6 2.5

has a bad misfire after we put a new oil pan + exhaust flange gasket and hangers for the exhaust installation.

ive been told to change the wires but everywhere i see for the m20b25 is for 9/87 and after, no option for before.

my question is will those wires work.?

starting to think that the
exhaust flange gasket could make it sound like im misfiring...

maybe it wasnt installed properly?

got my vert sounding like a tank right now!

Went to soundcloud but couldn't find the right file.

Once I forgot to tighten every bolt on the downpipes, and I do recall hearing a sound that could be misnterpreted as a misfire. I tightened up the bolts and it went away.

thats good to hear, the sound is something like clogged acceleration almost. like an old chevy c10...ewww
