    IX tie rod assembly

    Hey guys,

I just noticed a front boot split and spit out some black grease at the inner pasenger front side of my touring.
I'm already ordering a bunch of parts to rebuild my rear subframe. I'm now thinking of also rebuilding the front while it'll be on jackstands.

My tie rod assemblies are pretty rusty and on one of them the threads to adjust the lenght are fcked.

Does anyone have experience about the quality of the OCAP tie rods?
How do you like them and how long have them been on your iX?

    (Talking about this kit)

    Thanks!

I’ve had them on my ix for 3 years. I bought them because they were the only economical option. So far zero issues. They are still tight. Daily driven on rough roads.

I have them, too. No issues in a few hundred miles!

I just put one on the passenger side as I couldn't find OEM at a decent price. I noticed that they didnt come with a lock ring and the one from the old tie rod would not fit as the dimensions are different. had to put on w/o lock ring.
We'll see how it holds up.

Just picked up a set of the OCAP as OEM seemed high and the only other option was MTC, who I wasn't massively impressed with on some other linkage parts i'd previously had.
