Trailer Hitch for Touring?

Is a trailer hitch for a sedan the same as for a touring?

Basically, can I buy a hitch here in the USA for a sedan, for my 1989 Euro Touring?

Yes, a late model tow hitch will work just fine if the Curt hitches are anything to go by. However, most require drilling in to the body work, so I'd encourage you to look at a Euro hitch with a removable ball, or cut/weld a Euro hitch as they bolt in to the bumper shocks.
