Can’t get the right control arm disconnected. Hand hits the exhaust. Very frustrated as I can’t seem to get the nut turned

Hope it all goes back together ok. You'll definitely need a wheel alignment after fitting all that.

Have to admit I still have a soft spot for the M10 - have owned two over the years, an M10 powered e21 that was great with 130hp, and then a carby fed e30 316. The engines are pretty bullet proof providing you don't overheat them.

Having issues with tie rods and the bendable tabs holding them in, cold chisel tommorow morning lets see what happens.

Can shocks get damaged by staying extended?

This is the lifesaver. Go buy it.

Are you boots destroyed? Or is there another reason you’re changing the tie-rods?

The tie rods hold no tension or resistance and drop straight down Plus they came with that OEM suspension refresh kit

Engine work takes patience and finesse.

Suspension work takes anger, a big fucking hammer, and a torch.
                          I do things.

Not really something that was specifically part of my build lol, it’s fixed already

Its more relevant here than in the nonsense thread.
