Serious opinions needed M3 cabrio tail

So, I have an '89 E30 CAB in [near] stock trim, and currently contimplating a rear spoiler. The body is getting the M3 fenders and will be simular to what is pictured below:


Anyone ever see or have pictures to post of one with an OG E30 M3 rear deck spoiler?

I am not 100% certain, but I don't think it fits. You would not be able to open the trunk.

As the cab uses a standard rear trunk lid, not the much different m3 lid, It is much narrower. I know the stock m3 wing doesn't fit on a coupe lid properly. It sits on the lid gaps/seams.

I guess you could cut it in the middle and make it narrower.

Hope to be able to 'smooth the lines' to match the cabrio's flip door, hopefully giving it more OEM look. (Headscratcher for those lesser informed enthusiests...

You can get the Zender Wing that looks like the M3 wing but fits on the non-m cars, if you are looking for the M3 look.

That's a nicer alternative... could do the lip in Carbon...

I still like the MOD look of the raised trunklid on the M3. Might be stuck with and amalgamation of both

Let me see if I still have a pic of my cabrio with a zender evo spoiler sitting on it. But tbh in theory it would seem allright but in person it just looks goofy and ugly. Its too tall and looks rice with the top down.
