yeap, its because the car is a series 1 vehicle, ie it has chrome bumpers. The kit is in place over the bumpers :) Now what do you think of the fit? :p

Ive just replaced the front though, gone to a series II bumper conversion so now it will have the 2 piece front as per normal, adding an infinity lip to it aswell :)
Just a little project im working on

Its in place over the diving board? Or over a euro bumper? It looks decent.... I'm not knocking it. Just asking questions.

nobody would pay $2500 for it though.

It's M-tech I like he said it is.

I've seen a replica M-tech II kit in person, but I don't know who made it. It looked perfect. A guy in Tampa has it, it has Voxx rims like Lukas's. I was totally impressed with it, I couldn't tell it wasn't real till he told me.

Let's see if Mike imports some kits or not.

He's a member here, but doesn't post. Mainly on maX, he does pretty good volumes and makes FG replica kits for all sorts of cars. I've seen a lot of his work, and it's pretty damn impressive, especially anything made more recently.

The bottom pic is clearly a mtech II kit, it is different than the kit in the top pic which is the earlier mtech kit.

The rear bumper/valance, front bumper, and skirts are M-tech II you are right. The front valance is still M-tech I in the second pic.

I'm interested in only the rear valence. I plan on using iS skirts and the iS lip... but I feel the back is too exposed on my 91.

Why does the M-Tech II kit have what looks like 2 tow hook holes back there? Is there another tow hook hole back there?

BTW, if anyone contacts that guy, we'd all appreciate it if you'd post what you learn.
