    Hello I am a fabricator and there are only a few options you could go here. One this radiator is made to be a best bang for your buck item so the aluminum is going to be lesser grade to accommodate this. The only option you would have in my opinion would be to go to a shop (or if you have tig skills) and have them put a 45 degree nipple one and tig it out. The other option is to do whatever you can with the manufacturer. Would I be disappointed if my radiator leaked in a short time period, yes, but Mishimoto tries hard to help and sometimes the engineer says, hey let's change this and he has never installed a radiator in his life, prob the sitrep here. To me $300 is a lot of money right now (would pay my electric bill and help buy my kids school cloths) but compared to the $750- $1200 radiators it's a really good deal. I have personally seen their rads up close and it's pretty good work imo and I am a professional pipe welder, just my $.02
