Someone REALLY WANTS that eta. Obvious its a great color combo and i do hope its a legit buyer. I got my son the same car but its alpineweiss/tan. Whomp
              My son has the 1987 325e, 2 door, 5speed
              I daily the 1989 325i, 4 door, 5speed

The eta is also an impressive total. Especially so early in the auction. That buyer went all in. As mentioned if it is a legit buyer, one would think the reserve has been met.

If the reserve hasn't been met at $12k I'll join the bandwagon that BAT has lost their minds.

High bidder has won a couple other auctions. He must really want a black/cardinal ETA 4 door..

The winner of my 240Z did the same thing. Big bid on day 1, no other bids for the rest of the week.

Ugh. That Alpina B3 is making my bidding finger itchy. At that price, get it in the states, do the manual swap and just enjoy it. Even at 250 hp, I'd still enjoy just cruising in it. Plus, the look of the Grey and the Alpina rims.

...and it's a 4 door, so "Family Car". Should be an easy sell to the wife?

Exactly. I mean those ‘is’ weaves make it look so trashy. Gross!

                      Bottle caps = big bucks!

Technical retard here, but there is a nice 1991 e30 m3 up on BAT now.

I know the car. Lipstick on a pig as far as the "recent paintwork" goes. Meh.

That's a tactic used in house auctions too - come in high on the opening bid & scare off the opposition before someone gets competitive about it :)
