Wish I still had my flat black 16x8 Slips!! Someone decided to steal them from my driveway!! I ran 225/45/16 Falkens and had no rubbing issues on my '87. Wonder how much it would take to have the chewed lips fixed and then powder coated??? Hmmm.
Some people just need a sympathetic pat...

I just found out that shipping to the greater L.A. area, through a "budget friendly" shipper, is gonna be a little north of $200 dollars(with tires). The original price DOES NOT include shipping, so please consider that, when making your offers. Thanks!

You may want to shop that - it's way too high. I shipped a set of four individually boxed 16x7.5 wheels from TN to NV for about $100 with FedEx Ground. And that was when fuel was pushing $4/gallon.

I mean, I don't try to make money on the shipping, so whatever it ended up being, is what I'd charge. It seems like shipping rates, change daily lol. I sent 4 18's from fl to ct a few years ago (when fuel prices were higher too) for $20 a wheel, with $2000. in insurance but this is with tires, so the quotes are a lot higher. If someone wants them shipped, I'll look for better rates.

Ahh, I didn't realize you were shipping the tires as well. That price makes more sense then!

I didn't realize this either. I was also curious about the high shipping cost.

OP, it would be a good idea to list tire brand, size, and condition so that buyers know what's included.

Agreed. In truth, hadn't intended to ship the wheels with the tires. I mentioned them in the shipping price, because a few people who've inquired/made offers seemed to want the tires, despite the fact that 2 are shot and 2 are at 30-40%
