    2.0L stroker

Has anyone ever done a 2.0l block and 1.8l head bastard motor thing? I saw it on some 2002 forums, and it sounds similar to the eta block under an 885 head. Thanks

    It's just a 2002 engine.
The 1.8i head is good for flow:
Ireland had pistons with a higher pin
to make the 2l crank work with it,
and the rods are the same, so it's pretty easy.
Cranks are durable, so don't pay too much for one.

If you need pistons anyway (and most do) it's a
    cheap 200cc's.

The M10 engine has been around for 50 years now. People have done just about everything you can think of to it. Search.

Yes, easily, all you need is a 2L crank and the pistons Ireland has made.

Call, talk to Jeff, pay, wait a week or 2

          And a gasket kit.

the e21 came with a 2.0 version of the m10 also. pre-78 if I remember right, were 2.0.

Yep, pre 9-79, maybe- the cars with the mirrors screwed to the doors, not bolted into the
E30 'vent window' position. E21 heads.

All E21s (in the US, anyways) will have injector holes in the head for the CIS...
