The other question being frequently asked is if BMW made a 'is' in 1991. I'm curious about this as well.

Ah ok that make sense. So the seller or someone else must have added the MTech2 kit.

So weird that I haven't seen a 91 'is'. They must have been low production.

1991 offered the 318is, and the 325i with sport package. There is simply no such thing as a 1991 325is.

I was. I'll amend my first post- I didn't see any red flags on the red car.

I'll never forget the day my boss bid on (on eBay back in 2008), and won, a '68 912 Targa with a Type IV swapped in. He came in all stoked about it, and I saw Florida. Then I looked at the pictures and asked him, "What did you do?" Pointed out what I saw, he freaked out, Florida guy said, "I sent pictures and you signed the contract. You own the car."

Its back broke when we put it on the lift. It was awesome.

He still bought a couple more eBay cars, only not from Florida. He has auction-induced myopia.

I'll be following this one closely. The resume is almost identical to my E30 down the 5 speed swap, color and repaint. Mine is just one year newer, but with more miles.

                    High mileage, Automatic tan/bronzit..

Before the BAT inflation, that would have been turned into a racecar, drift missile or parted out. Crazy how the market has changed in just a few years.

It would look much cleaner if they were to bolt up the air dam to the bumper, rid it of that gap.
