    1990 325i Touring Vancouver BC $10500

    Sold

    Milage is 178k kms.

Aftermarket mods: Only DME chip copy of DINAN chip. LED interior light bulbs. Remote central locking. Nakamichi head unit. E30 M3 Castor bushes. Bilstien B4 shocks up front. MTECH springs. Thats all I can think of for aftermarket mods. Car is pretty much original.

Known issues: Rear washer jets inop due to broken hose from trunk to tailgate. License plate light warning comes on check control when you turn lights on. Parking dent in drivers door. Needs paint as clearcoat has gone on hood and roof. Outer skin of catalytic converter has rusted off. No exhaust leaks. Sunroof motor needs syncronising to close on one touch operation. Right rear door harness needs replacing as window only works from switch in door, not on centre console, supplied. Wind deflector broken and does not come up with sunroof open. I have a parts car with working sunroof so should be able to get one off that. Right side gutter rail flew off and went under a truck, I still have it but its scratched. Avail new at BMW for $170ish. Headlight adjusters don't work. Dash has a few cracks. Drivers Seat cloth needs replacing.

    Pics added.

    Price is $10500 CAN

    From CL ad:

Selling my BMW E30 touring. 325i 1990 model automatic (sports auto) Japanese import, second Canadian owner, I m a BMW technician and have had this car since 2015. Would keep it but a E30 M3 came along....

Factory cloth sport seats with M logo in backrest. Map reading light mirror. Euro spec so euro grills, rear foglight, city lights etc. Nakamichi headunit with Hertz rear speakers in factory enclosures.

No rust. No accidents, clean title. Clear coat has gone/faded on hood and roof, drivers seat worn.

Recent work before I bought car included new OEM rear muffler and rear brake pads.

Work carried out since 2015. Note I have had many E30's and have been a BMW mechanic for 24 years so this car is running very well. Instant daily driver with nothing to spend to just get in and drive.

New timing belt kit Contitech done twice. First time in 2015 and then 1000kms ago, due to a noisy tensioner. So timing belt and tensioner is near new.
    Water pump
    Drive belts
    3 rad hoses
    New 80 deg thermostat
    New rad cap
    New fan clutch.
    New throttle body gasket.
    New intake boot.
    New crankcase breather hose.
    Spark plugs
    Dist cap and button
    Fuel hoses in engine bay
    Oil and filter
    Engine mounts
    Gearbox mounts
    Rebuilt injectors.
    New air filter.
    New oil pan gasket.

    New throttle cable.

Fitted new AC recieved dryer and I think upgraded the pressure switch. Then had ac regassed by small shop via low side. Worked ok. Later regassed again using both high and low side and extra oil. AC works really well now.

After a fuel smell I replaced fuel filter, and all fuel hoses around fuel filter.

Odometer stopped working in 2016 sometime and I fitted garagistic Odo gears which didn't work so fitted odometergears.com gears which did. Reckon I may have lost around 500-1000kms from actual mileage, so real milage would be 178000 or 179000. No more.

I fitted remote central locking to trunk wiring.

Got a key from BMW and had it cut.

New wiper blades. The whole assessmbly, not just the rubber. On front and rear.

    New 02 sensor.

Chip in DME from a friend back in Australia, copy of a Dinan chip.

Yellow h3 bulbs in front fog lights.

New front brakes complete from textar.

    Brake fluid flushed.

New front control arms from lemforder

    New lemforder tie rods.

New front strut inserts, bilstein b4.

    New lemforder strut bearings.

New upper and lower spring pads front and rear.

New MTech front springs from BMW.

    2nd hand e30 m3 rear springs.

New rear Bilstien B4 shocks supplied but not fitted yet.

New e30 m3 lemforder castor bushes.

Repaired left rear window motor issue. Fitted working window motor and good wiring harness.

    New front lip.

I think right rear door could use a new harness too which is supplied.

    New trunk struts.

Needs a gutter rail for right side and clip, available from BMW.

Rear wiper and rear demist works. Rear washer system needs refitting with new hose from trunk to tailgate.

Wheels are rays volks 15 inch with near new winter Hancook IPIKE RSV tires bought from Canadian Tire.

There I think I met all the criteria, I hope my ad does not get deleted this time.

Wish you were on the east coast. I’d be very tempted to snag it before new year. Good luck with sale.

Right rear window now working perfectly, so all windows working.

Sunroof wind deflector has been replaced with good working one.

Forgot to mention 6 button OBC has bleeding screen issue, have a good one to go in.

US dollar is stronger against the Canadian dollar so great deal!
