I will be doing a similar build on my '89 4door IX.
I'm planning on doing an m60 with e46 6speed XI manual.
I definitely want to Referee it being in CA.
Then turning it into a pickup ☺

Have you started a build thread?
The driveline you outlined won't work without an adapter plate between the engine and transmission.

weren't those headers priced at like 1500 bucks? most of their stuff was nice but priced stupidly.
