well, there hasn't been an update on this because I didn't know for sure what was going on. Now that Ive spent my tax return, something big is going to change.

haha, I love that this post started a new page. Its a new chapter!

I will give a few details. The current 885 head is cracked :( I loved the 2.7i setup and tried really really hard to find a good 885 somewhere in the PNW, but I think the PRO3 guys are hoarding them all. I tried to avoid it, but I am going 24v. Thats all I will say right now.

              well, tax return is spent....

Motor is purchased in addition to the following:
              -E34 Oil Pan, pickup, dipstick
              -E34 Vanos wiring harness
-Red Label ECU w/ TMS chip
              -iX Booster & Master
              -M50 Intake Manifold
              -S52 Exhaust Manifolds
-Brand New M42 Radiator & 16" Electric Fan
-AKG Motor mounts, E21 Transmission mounts & alum cups
              -Alternator

Still a ton of other stuff needs to be bought, but pics will come up soon as I rebuild the motor.

Anyone need some M20 parts? I have a TON of stuff to unload

Are you still moving down to CA? You specify an M50 manifold, which I assume means your running an M52 otherwise why mention it. That may make it harder to smog it through..umm...typical channels.

glad you caught that! Im not 100% if/ when I will move back to CA, but I want to make this thing look like a M50. If I move back, I want to get it BAR'd as a Vanos M50 setup, but it will be far from it

Nothing you'd want!! The long tube headers, ECU w/ Mark D chip, 19# Injectors & 3.5bar FPR. Not sure who would want anything else, but the rest is just typical M20 stuff.

I have been researching like crazy the C101 connector and I really want to repin the X20 so theres not cut wires. I know soldering will work, but I want it to look factory. I also rearranged my work schedule for April so I have a day off during the week, this just means that I will be spending an 8 hour day at KD motorsports building the motor.

I like the direction it's going. The way it started out is pretty crappy though.
I'll hook you up on some Sump Armor when the time is right.

motor build is moving along slowly, but the block is built now and should be getting installed soon. only update related to the entire car itself is some fun stuff for the interior...

I needed the hub but got a good deal on the whole package so I just installed this for now

Jamison, which wheel are you talking about? I love both. I initially bought the Momo wheel just for the hub, but its growing on me. Might have to keep the other one just for special occasions or something so it doesnt get the hot southern california sun roasting it on a day to day basis...

As for the rest of the car it looks like Im going to have to move it to southern california with me as a complete runner with an overheating motor and have the 24v motor assembled and ready to drop in. WIll probably just bite the bullet and have Castros finish it.
