    Yet another no start thread

So I finally got my new starter in (bench tested a-ok) and still have issues. The fantastic news is the car started up no problem when I jumped pins 11 to 14, and it ran perfectly fine from there.

The problem is I can't start it with the key. I can hear the starter doing something (not quite a click like the solenoid engaging) but nothing from there. Where should I start? Fuses, relays, etc....or perhaps a bad ignition switch?

You don't say if it's an early or late starter but the terminals are different and IIRC the early cars have a relay. Go to wedophones.com and grab an electrical manual

Late model starter on an early model car...I had the smaller wire on the top terminal and the starter would spin but no solenoid action, swapped it to the bottom terminal and here I am. I'll go do some digging through the ETM

In case anyone finds this later, turns out there is a starter relay tucked under the steering column behind the abs computer, replaced it and we’re good to go!
