    is lip help

Hi all, little help here pls.

I am currently swapping out my standard lip for an “is” lip on my 91 325i sedan. The car is Schwarz black...should I paint the is lip Schwarz black or trim black? The old lip is trim color obviously but a good bit smaller than the “is” one.

Thx for the help. Btw I am installing ”is” or sport skirts as well and I will be painting those body color black.

    Thx!!

Ultimately it's your choice on what you think is better. Color matched came from the factory for is lips. I'm installing my is lip next week and I'm color matching

If you're already getting a body shop to paint it, paint it body color. You might ask them to add a flex additive to the paint for the lower bits.

I'd always wondered if the lip came colored matched from the factory.

My Bronzit IS is currently being painted, but I'm going to keep the lip black.
