    Using E38 4 pot Brembo on E36 96+ M3 front?

    Hi guys,

Currently running the 312x25mm Audi TT fronts with E38 Brembo calipers on default 4x100 using custom brackets and 16mm spacers to fit the ET38 17"s.

Here patiently awaithing the M60 :)

Now i want to move to the 5x120 area using E36 M3 96+ front setup. I know the E31 brembos are direct fit on the E36 M3 spindle. The question is has anyone done it with the E38 type Brembo callipers? The obvious difference is the mounting holes difference 112mm on the E38 and 120mm on the E36 M3.

Parts I have for the front:

    E36 M3 Evo wishbone,kingpin,spindle
    E36 M3 Evo rotor - 315x28mm
    Brembo 4-pot E38 calipers + pads

I am very happy with my current setup, my main reason for going 5x120 is to have proper ABS and enough room for tires due to offset. And of course the better wheel/road contact with this setup.

    Any comments are welcome :)

    All is done :).
Finally have discs to fill those 17's.
Wheels are BBS RC41&042 offset +41

    Front:
Complete M3 96+ setup except coil overs
    4 pot Brembo callipers
    E30 M3 solid offset COBs
    215/40/17 on 7.5J wheel offset +41 + 17mm spacer = +24

    Rear:
    318ti arms + solid polyurethane bushings all around + 330i disks + callipers 235/45/17 on a 8.5J wheel offset +41

What rotors are you running on the front?

Did you make a spacer to accommodate the different mounting hole pitch?

          Rotors are Audi S3.

          No spacers.

Love the rotor choice. I was looking at these for an e30 M3 setup, but the hat height is too short. How's the braking power?

Any details on what you actually did beyond a parts list?
