    Windshield Wipers moving slow

    Hey Guys!

Along with a whole clusterF**k of electrical problems with my car thanks to the previous owner, my wipers seem to be running slow. I've creeped the forums and seen a bunch of posts about motor replacement, linkage, etc. but does anyone else have any input as to why this is happening?

Both of the wipers move in proper motion, just very very slow.

    Thanks!

I would first check the ground before further troubleshooting. Make sure the ground connection is clean and solid connection.

I dunno where it was but i came across someone who had pulled their wiper motor apart and cleaned all the tracks. Apparently they gum up and start to corrode and reduce the current and thus the speed. Looked relatively easy to DIY.

            ah here it is

wipers seem to have just needed to be turned on for a while in the rain, now they run at normal speed... BUT now they park just slightly below the windshield. when they run at full speed, they go on and off the windshield at the bottom very slightly.

I'm OCD... How do i fix this?

After the wipers are parked pull the arms off and reposition them slightly clockwise, above the bottom of the windshield.

I know this sounds dumb but did you make sure the wiper arms are tight...... as far as making sure the nut is tight ? Just a simple check to make sure of this before you order anyparts lol. Other wise sounds like maybe motors, you can always make sure your getting correct voltage to motors ....hey you never know.
