    E34 clutch pedal question

    Hi,

Looking for anyone with a manual / 5speed e34 if you could post a few clear photos of the clutch pedal assembly in the resting position and specifically what keeps the pedal from flapping up so to speak.

Trying to figure out why a clutch pedal would be able to go up past the normal resting position ? It goes down and back up as expected, but can also be lifted further up without any effort whatsoever like it's not attached to the cylinder rod.

    Thanks

This is the best I've got when i had the pedal box out of the car. The silver bracket w/ the cruise switch might be your issue, perhaps? Sorry it's so big... maybe it will help.

Thank you, I made a thread about this on BFC and got some pointers too. Looks like it could potentially be an MC issue with the rod coming out of the MC due to bad or missing circlip. Will have to dig into it .
