WTB: E30 325 Convertible - Greater Philly Area

    Good morning,

I am looking to purchase an E30 325 Convertible. I live in NJ Philly Suburbs and would like to keep the potential purchase within ~1 hour radius.

    Must haves:
    - Manual transmission
    - Good exterior/interior condition
    - Good top condition
    - Service records
    - Black/Grey/White colors
    - Daily driving condition
    - Looking to Spend up to 7,000 USD

    Nice to have/not deal breakers:
    - Front spoiler/body kit/aggressive styling would be a big plus
    - 6 cylinder would be a huge plus
    - I'm open to an engine swap if it is suitable
    - Ideally only light modifications, but I'm not ruling anything out without seeing it
    - Preferably white headlights (not yellow)
    - Big plus if the timing belt and water pump were recently serviced
    - functioning top motor (moved to 'nice-to-have')

    Definite No:
    - Automatic transmission
    - accident car
    - teal/beige color
    - unrealiable engine issues

I tried to be as specific as possible, but in reality, I'm willing to take a look at most anything with the "Must have's" and in my price range and locale. I'm a motivated buyer, and am looking forward to getting into my first E30.

    Thanks for taking a look!

I'm going to bid you good luck if this is a definite no; a car with working power is going to likely be more well maintained all around and command 10k+ in this e30 environment.

All else seems to be relatively reasonable asks though. Good luck bud!
        No antenna? I sell plugs!

Fair enough, and if everything else works out, then I can live with that-- especially if it is such a common item.

In any event, thanks-- I'm excited to join the community.

Broken top motor is an easy fix. Assuming it's the typical sheared off aluminum housing problem, you can buy a steel plate from Germany, bolt it on, and you're back in business.

            Good luck!

Thanks for the referral 2mAn. I do love the community. Even if I sell my Vert and get the SC I am going to hang around here. Besides the P-Car the E30 is it.
