Yeah but BAR. And then I have to source an m20, g260, driveshaft, harness, DME, exhaust, etc. Even you said I might as well just throw another m42 in it when we were texting. If anyone has all the stuff I need in excellent condition for ~1k I'll do it. But you said yourself that's not worth it. At the same time I need like 40k out of whatever engine I put in it because I wanna do a V8 after college.
EDIT: at the same time, my dad offered to let me cannibilize his car for the engine, but that seems like a very shitty idea to me. He wants the m42 for gas mileage but he might as well just put in a 2.93 and get the same result without having an awkward DB m42 vert that no one will want to buy if he ever wants to sell it.

23 miles on my 17 year old mtb this morning. I'm not impressed with new mtbs, they lack gearing to keep up. It was a good ride around Annandale State park. Perhaps next time I'll have to break out the 21 year old Specialized S-Works with Mag-21s and cantilever brakes. I saw a nice 325IS in the parking lot at Annandale as well.
