8-5-09 UPDATE:
Started a little late today but wanted to accomplish a couple different things.
got the front fascia prepped and primer coated. waiting for it to dry. going to strip. Filler primer, strip, base coat, wet sand, second coat, wet sand and final coat/clear. But it is well on its way as are the wheels! :D
Anyhow, pics~
thats the first coat. its a sub par paint job but it will look decent for another 10 months before i start a whole respray. Prep pics are boring so I wont post those.
Rear headrests went in today as well. God they look dope. They came compliments of SFGadgetGuy. a member here and the brackets from Brandondan1 another member on R3v here. they were great to work with and I got what I payed for ^^. The installation was super straight forward and was actually completed by my great friend Jeff (non-member F-body guy) who did an outstanding job while I sanded away to my hearts delight. Working on getting him a late model coupe atm in the 3k$ range for him to modify and enjoy so he doesnt have to drive mine
Headrest pics~
midway thru
Post install pics!
Install took roughly one hour for headrests and went smooth as can be. super straightforward. this is the DIY i used to do it. http://bmw.e30tuner.com/articles_rrest.php
And the product is stunning for verts and coupes alike! My almost non-existent passengers who are in the back will really appreciate this mod! I generally only mob 2 deep.
Oh and one last decent pic of the full engine bay and camber plates. Looking forward to stuffing this bay with a modded M/S5x sometime soon
Thanks for viewing!

... and i couldnt be happier. And the springs have only been in use 5-6 days so I expect them to settle yet another fraction or two of an inch. Thanks for the opinion and complimentsLate model granitesilber 325i convertible FS:
