Forbes magazine just named Tulsa the #6 most dangerous city for cities with a population of more than 250k (Tulsa is about 380k, metro area near 1 million).
Granted the vast majority of this crime is confined in North and North-east Tulsa. But that's still a bit disheartening.
EDIT: Just read the story on another site, looks like the first place left some info out. THey included traffic fatalities with crime statistics, which seems a bit odd.
