S52 OBD1 First Start No Crank Help Please

Hello, Need some noob help.

Just put my engine harness on motor and hooked everything up.
Dash lights come on but I don't get the starter to start.

I Pinned the harness out. Its from a 93-93 325i, no ews.

When i turn it to ignition i can hear the ICV making vibrating noises.
Is this normal or did I hook up the sensors wrong?

Any input would help. Really want to hear this motor fire up for the first time.

If you know any good shops in the San Diego CA area let me know.

Yes, this is normal.

If you aren't even getting the starter to crank, check the main engine ground. You can try temporarily grounding the engine lift bracket to the strut tower to see.

Does the engine rotate? If not then problem is at your starter wiring /grounds If it does rotate when you cranck, check that cam and cranck sensers go to right plugs. It's very common mistake to mix them.
