    24v what powering steering fluid?

I'm running a e30 rack, e30s take ATF, but the pump is obviously 24v, and that's CHF11s, do I match the pump or rack?

Funny, I've been putting D4 into the M54 cars since day one...

    I vote D4/D6 atf.

Interesting conundrum, whats the difference between the fluids?

What is more expensive to fix a pump or a rack?

I assume a pump is more expensive, thus id be using the oil that is specified for the Pump.....

Pump is definitely more easily replaced and cheaper. Just run atf dude, it makes no difference. It's a rotary vane pump, it could be pumping grape juice for all it cares
