    89 325i A/C Help

Hi, so I just purchased my first e30, it's a 89 325i and the previous owner did a ac and power steering delete on. As far as the ps I know I can put the e36/z3 system on but I don't know much about the ac. Should I try to find an oe r12 system or can convert to a r134a off of a newer BMW like the e36 power steering upgrade. Any advice would be helpful
    Thanks.

Lots of AC threads on here. Check the DIY section. R134a will be much easier.

I took a late model e30 R134a compressor and ran it on adjusted lines. Works like a charm however you may need to replace the condensor coils, or change the coolant temp switch that turns on the auxiliary fan because the heat the stock coils will produce.

      No problems.
