    327i build wirimg

So I have 2 c101 connections. The fuse box c101 on the car is the original for a 87 325es, the other from the ECU is off a 1989 or 90 325ic. I've been told the grounds are different but I'm bad with wiring and I'm trying to figure out what goes where. The harness side has 16/20 pins and the fuse box side only has 11/20.

Pin 7 on the harness have 2 green wires and pin 10 an 1 both have blue.

I just need some help on what I can do so I don't fry it and so I keep everything working.

You would have to compare body to body and/or engine harness to engine harness, some wires change color at the c101.

Since your car is a late eta, the c101 is a plug and play, EXCEPT pin #20. Some chassis has this as a ground, some as battery power - so if you miss match them, you can fry the harness.

Since car side has no pin #20, it's plug and play. As you can see, your engine harness has a red/yellow wire, that would indicate it came from a late model airbag car.
