With long exposures your going to have a buffer time of close to the exposure time anyway. At least thats been my experience anyway.

Yes, with the really long exposures it took about as long to process as the original shot. Longer if I have the long exposure noise reduction on as well as the low light noise reduction.

As for the pic, again, nice shot. Now would you quit showing off with the northern lights shots. The color is really good. I'm getting jealous. I don't have the $ to book a flight north so I can go shoot one of my own.

Dont worry will. it will be awhile before I can even consider shooting more. I had to go back to work. I have been down in Tulsa OK. for the last week, and will be here this week as well for some new technology training and will prolly be out in the WV working till Chirtsmas here before too long.

Some nice shots in here, I got a Canon 60D and a 50mm 1.4f lens for graduation from my parents, and I have to say, out of the box shooting is perfectly fine with this camera, it absolutely astonishes me how well pictures look just throwing it on Auto or No flash and taking pictures.

Factory refurb'd for $579. You honestly can't tell it isn't a new camera by apperance/function. Looks like they have body only new for $700 as well.
