Been getting some free time to work on it lately, got all my gasket in and ready to go.

Test fitting chain guides on the m62

How did your rod bearings look, and what are you replacing them with? (assuming that there is anything other than OEM parts available?)

My bearings looked ok but I'm replacing them anyways..I plan on keeping this engine for a long time so I wanted some peace of mind. I bought glyco bearings from pelican, they are an oem supplier

Thanks, that is one of the better prices I've seen. I appreciate the info!

I figured I would go ahead and redo the rest of the car while I'm doing the engine so..

Gutted the interior for some sound deadening, a dashboard without cracks and a banging sound system from Luke

Still have a lot of work to do, rarely get time to work on it

I'm so envious of your non rusty floorboards! They look so mint!

Yeah for sure that would be an interesting comparison. Is yours a b44Tu with Vanos?

Took the wilwood pedals out to change the clutch pedal position and check the pedal hinges out. They looked horrible, on the clutch pedal the hole where the pin goes through is starting to become an oval from the wear as there are no bearings or anything

Something people may want to consider going this route with the brakes
