    Mystery IX

I've seen people on this forum post they were surprised to discover the IX was available as a coupe. Since I would love (love!) to own an IX coupe, I found it more surprising they weren't already aware.

That having been said, I'm visiting family for the holidays and mom pulled out a box of old autoshow guides. Needless to say I flipped straight to the BMW section, and the IX is only listed as a 4-door! I checked a few different years - only sedan.

I suppose in an indirect way, I owe these people somewhat of an apology.

    Happy Holidays

I'm buying back my 2 door IX. Not a huge fan of the 4 door.

It didnt come that way, he removed the sunroof.

Also, when e30s were made, none of them were considered "coupes". A 2 door E30 is still a sedan (even the M3), so all the old listings you saw were right. Sedan 30 years ago didnt neccesarily mean 4 doors.

I dunno, 2 doors are ok. I dont really want one, the cars are the same anyway, and it makes the back seats more useful (l like with kids, or race tires/tools). Wouldn't turn one down if it fell in my lap of course!

I was just contacted today that a guy wanted to sell his ix. It is a two door 5spd, d-Schwarz with gray leather int. I told him to post it up on here. Don't know if he did or not.
