Z3 steering rack build kit and tie rod kit?

I am planning to replace my e30 steering rack with Z3 1.9 one and wonder if:
1) Rebuild the rack is DIY-able or not. I don't see any YouTube about it. Some BMW forum has info about it but seems like it's beyond DIY (need pro-shop tools?)
2) If Rebuild is possible, which kit is recommended?
3) People suggested to replace tie rod at the same time. Which kit is preferred?
