    Adjustable trailing arm alignment

I've got the weld on eccentric trailing arm bolts and need to update my alignment.

It's got the little notches in the eccentric.

What's the correlation between each notch and degrees?

Probably depends on your ride height.

the poor mans wheel alignment is a phone app that shows degrees and a straight edge across the face of the wheel (metal bit, not tyre). Slightly less poor mans is a degree meter from the hardware store in the level section.

My method is I use a 6' carpenters straight edge. I measure the difference in the distance the top of the rim and the bottom is from vertical and use some trig. My question is, if I'm .4 degrees off-camber, how many notches on the eccentric does that correlate too?

For toe I'll either using parallel strings or place the straight edge on the wheel and see where it's pointing, in or out. I've been amazingly accurate when I've had an actual alignment done.

you said trig. I cannot help.

how many notches are around the eccentric? maybe have to use a straight edge and figure how many notches are in a 90 or something like that and then see how much your numbers change when you move a notch
